Fall Forum 2016: Apply to Present!

In addition to registering and attending, there are three ways to participate in Fall Forum 2016, which will take place December 2 and 3 in Providence, Rhode Island. → Option One: develop a Fall Forum Workshop! Workshops are created for and by educators, school leaders, students, and community members. We also welcome proposals from organizations and individuals who support Essential schools. If selected, workshop presenters have their conference registration fee waived (up to two waivers per workshop). Workshops can be either 3 or 1.5 hours. Proposal Deadline: June 9, 2016. We strongly encourage early submissions! Workshops selected by June 16.

CES Essentials: Our Great Books and More

As part of the Year of Demonstration, we’re highlighting the essential books and resources that have shaped the Coalition of Essential Schools’ history. This series, called the CES Essentials, offers thoughts on these works from educators and others who create schools and school systems that demonstrate the power of the Common Principles in action. Be a Fall Forum Opening Speaker! 

Over its 30+ years, Fall Forum has been honored by the words of some incredible opening speakers–and we think that this year will feature the best yet. To kick off the second day of Fall Forum 2016, we will select five to eight people to tell their stories about the ways CES schools have changed their lives. We’re inviting your current students, alumni, and educators to share the impact of the CES Common Principles.
