In partnership with Lone Star College-Kingwood and Humble ISD, Quest Early College High School is an award-winning, small school of approximately 400 students, housed within Humble High School, where qualified students can earn both a high school diploma and an Associate's degree or up to two years of credit toward a Bachelor's degree -- for FREE.

Quest Early College High School:

-Creates a seamless transition from high school to college
-Offers rigorous instruction and accelerated courses
-Offers service-learning and internship opportunities in the community
-Provides academic and social support services to help students succeed
-Increases college readiness
-Reduces barriers to college access
-Provides transportation for students

Quest ECHS is a diverse campus, proud to be located in Humble Independent School District, winner of the 2016 H.E.B. Best Large School District award. We are located northeast of Houston in a suburban area where our demographics mirror the school district.

We educate students who are:
- first generation college goers
-underrepresented in colleges and universities
-from low socio-economic circumstances
-at-risk
-English as a second language

In 2011, Quest ECHS was named the ASCD Whole Child award winner, and in 2016, we have also been designated by the Texas Education Agency as an ECHS Demonstration Campus for the 16-17 school year. This spring we were also awarded the Bronze medal by U.S. News and World Report. We most recently presented at the T.E.A. ECHS Best Practices Summit in August, 2016, and we will be presenting at the Texas ASCD conference in October, 2016.

We are extremely proud of our 2016 graduation rates: 100% from high school and 90% with Associate degrees. In the class of 2016, our 81 seniors earned over $3 million dollars in scholarships, and 100% accepted to 4 year universities or institutions of higher education.

We love sharing our story about how a small school model can work to help students succeed. We like to call it #thequestdifference

Our 2016 Essential Question:

How do we prepare today's student for a future that is rapidly evolving while keeping their social-emotional learning at the forefront?

Our Competencies and Strengths:

We have achieved excellence in teaching the "whole child" by focusing on social-emotional learning while preparing our students to graduate high school with an associate degree. We have most recently been named one of thirteen Early College High School Demonstration campuses in the Texas Education Agency Early College High School network for the 2016-2107 school year. We have student support structures in place such as Family (a daily advisory system), Service Learning (a weekly service to the community in area schools, parks, social services, including internships, etc.), and a college readiness system which allow our students to leave us ready to be successful in their next step of life - university level work, military, and/or the work force. We love sharing our story about how students' success truly comes from teaching them the "soft skills" through Family and Service Learning.
