The LOFT Principal Residency Network is a program designed to have an Aspiring Principal spend a year doing the job of principal before they are certified to run their own school. BayCES' Coaching for Educational Equity happens August 6-8, in Oakland. The Institute is a professional coaching skills training program for educators interested in learning a coaching approach to addressing educational inequities in their schools and districts.

BayCES’ Coaching for Educational Equity Institute will be in Oakland on June 25-27. The Institute is designed to help coaches improve their practice.

The Bay Area Coalition for Equitable Schools, the Stanford Redesign Network, and EXCEL High School host “On Our Watch: Preparing Urban Students for Life, Leadership, and Academic Excellence,“ a national conference for educators, parents and students of urban schools to tour Oakland’s innovative small schools and share best practices for creating equitable and just urban small schools.
