The Hilton Charlotte Center City, a Triple A Four Diamond hotel, is adjacent to the convention center and offers rooms at the $160 group rate with a November 5th cut-off date, after which prevailing rates may be charged. (Please note - in order to confirm your reservation, the Hilton will charge your credit card immediately for one night’s deposit, refundable up to 72 hours in advance of the first night of your original reservation dates, upon cancellation notice.)

A Triple A Four Diamond hotel, the Westin Charlotte is the location of our Pre-Conference sessions Thursday, as well as our Opening Session and Reception Thursday night. It is located next to the Charlotte Convention Center, where all Friday and Saturday sessions will take place.
The group rate is no longer available at the Westin (see the Hilton above for availability of the group rate).
Remember that this negotiated rate is available only until 5:00 pm, Eastern Time, Thursday, October 16, 2008. Reservation requests received after then will be accepted at The Westin’s prevailing rate, based on availability.
Important note for both hotels: In the event that a guest who has reserved a guest room checks out prior to the reserved checkout date without notification at check in will be charged an early departure fee of $50. Guests wishing to avoid this fee MUST advise Hotel at or before check-in of any change in the scheduled length of stay. The Hotel will inform members of this fee upon check-in.
LYNX, a convenient connection between the Fall Forum 2008 site and downtown Charlotte, can take you where you need to go quickly and cheaply. Hop on the Charlotte Light Rail System at the convention center stop and check out all the dining, entertainment, and other sites downtown Charlotte has to offer.
Visit Charlotte Douglas International Airport for information about airlines that serve Charlotte, which cities are served by direct flights, and other valuable flight information.
We have made arrangements with Queen’s Airport Shuttle for a discounted group rate of $26 round trip between the airport and our Fall Forum locations (the one way rate is $14). Simply use the courtesy phone for Queen’s Airport Shuttle in the Baggage Claim area of the airport, identify yourself as part of “CES Fall Forum 2008,” and a van will pick you up within ten minutes.
